I came in right at the start of this joke, but it's in reference to his newly replaced hip. His partner Kym Johnson asks him if his leg is okay and his response is, "It's okay I hold my rod all the time." You've got to give it to the guy, he's always great spirits and seems to be constantly having fun.
Not a bad performance too....especially with a bad hip....
For details on the moves (mainly his Peter Pan finishing move) head to
The Sports Hernia for the photos!
P.S.- No one say crap about how I was watching Dancing With The Stars! Okay Okay.....let me have it.
Well done, and I'm glad I wasn't the only one watching. He definitely looked like he enjoyed himself.
ReplyDeleteNow excuse me, I need to check out this great investment opportunity that Omar Cruz was gracious enough to pass on...
Dammit Omar! Get out of my comments and into my car!!!
ReplyDeleteI gotta give it to the Cubester he took take of business, hip be damned.
ReplyDeleteI also have to give much thanks to Omar for the great investment opportunity. what a guy, looking out for us like that.
Now I understand AA....after watching Dancing With the Stars, you and Omar are going to retire to your impressive piece of real estate in Costa Rica where Omar will feed you pineapple and make you pina coladas and Mai-Tais....not that there's anything wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteIf Cubes' tenure on DWTS produces but one on-air video of Dirk Nowitski doing some sort of crazy German techno Sprockets dance, then humanity is a success.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of what David Stern may have to say, Mark Cuban is one of the best things that's happened to the sports world. He's energetic, controversial, and funny. You can't take your eyes off the guy, and in the long run, those qualities have to be good for the league. It's nice to see that it's not by any means a front, and that really does enjoy life that much. He's actually not that bad of a dancer.
ReplyDeleteMark Cuban is the worst thing that's happened to the sports world, and I can keep my eyes off of him. He's no more of a publicity and attention whore than Terrell Owens, who gets crucified for doing the same things Cuban does.
ReplyDeleteDWTS is killing America. If you watch this show, you are a terrorist.
ReplyDeleteYou need to have a child.
ReplyDeleteIt will keep you away from DWTS
I don't think I'm going to watch again because of House, but it's really not THAT bad people.
ReplyDelete"and is really good written"
ReplyDeleteWho would not take financial advice from this man. I sure as hell would. Thanks Omar...
My two oldest (8 y.o. boy & 6 y.o. girl) watch DWTS with us; they enjoy the showmanship and teh music. They're (luckily) not old enough yet to really understand that the women are barely wearing clothes . . . which is also a perfectly valid reason for straight men to watch (have you SEEN those women?). Beyond that, watch just a bit of the better dancers, and you'll have no questions about their superb athleticism.

ReplyDeleteLet's see... Terrell destroyed the Eagles, Cuban rescued the Mavs. Yes, I see the similarities
T.O. helped bring a team to the Super Bowl, even though he was hurt at the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteCuban helped bring a team to the Finals. Then it suffered the most humiliating first-round exit in the history of basketball.
And how did he respond? By hanging out at Cubs games, spreading rumors about buying other teams, and appearing on "Dancing With the Stars."
I don't see a difference. It's all "I love me some me."
