I think it bothered him because it was a stupid question about his personal life and nothing to do with his game performance. You dont hear reporters asking JD Drew about his sick kid or other players about their personal lives. It was a dumb question and she got the answer she deserved. Also one other point, Beckett really despises making his media appearances and that is Josh Beckett 24/7 when you put a mic and a camera in his face.
