Your NFL Announcing Schedule: Week Seven

Here are your Week #7 Announcing Assignments for CBS and Fox brought to you by the lovely San Diego Chargers' Cheerleaders (The Chargerettes? come courtesy of SI Photos). If someone could explain to me why Nantz and Simms are at Oakland-KC....I'd love to know. What a crappy game for your #1 Team.

1PM Games:

CBS

New England @ Miami - Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf
Tennessee @ Houston - Dick Enberg, Randy Cross
Baltimore @ Buffalo - Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon

FOX

San Francisco @ NY Giants - Matt Vasgersian, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa
Arizona @ Washington - Sam Rosen, Tim Ryan
Tampa Bay @ Detroit - Ron Pitts, Tony Boselli
Atlanta @ New Orleans - Chris Rose, Terry Donahue
4PM Games:

CBS

Kansas City @ Oakland - Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
NY Jets @ Cincinnati - Ian Eagle, Solomon Wilcots

FOX

Minnesota @ Dallas - Kenny Albert, Troy Aikman
Chicago @ Philadelphia - Dick Stockton, Brian Baldinger
St. Louis @ Seattle - Matt Devlin, J.C. Pearson

  1. Oh man...what does Fox have against my beloved Bears? We get Stockton and Baldinger again? That's just wrong.

  3. Hey AA, was there something we didn't know about that caused the NFL to repeat week 6?

  5. Mookie- Yes there was...my poor editing skills. Fixed.

  6. Nantz must have a personal speaking engagement in San Francisco so he can golf at Olympic Club.

  7. 1. Do you see a better game for Nantz and Simms to do?

    2. The better question should be why is Chris Rose announcing a game?

  11. I'm guessing they're being sent to the G game of the week as punishment for their completely biased and one-sided comments during the Dallas/New England game.

The only shame is that the contest isn't being played somewhere in Mexico

  12. Ugh, Kenny Albert on the Dallas game. The guy makes my ears bleed.

  13. Are Johnson and Tasker a product of the bye? meaning FOX has one more game than CBS (7 to 6), so one announce team has to be off right? Maybe CBS rotates the lesser crews.

  14. who the hell are matt devlin and jc pearson?

  15. I'm not sure what's worse: that the Saints are 1-4 or that we got downgraded to Rose & Donahue.

  16. Kenny Albert? AGAIN. Why oh why can't I ever get Vasgersian?

  17. Oh how I long for the days of play-by-play professionals like Curt Gowdy, Lindsay Nelson, Charlie Jones, and of course Pat Summerall.

Ron Pitts is awful. Chris Rose should stick to The Best Damn Sports Show Period, otherwise known as The Worst Show That You Couldn't Offer Me Sex With Jessica Biel Afterwards Or Force Me To Watch With A Gun At My Head.

Blame the schedulers for the bad games this week that force these pairings.
