Brady Quinn helps us dance our way into this Sunday's game, with the Steelers heading into Cleveland to take on the Browns.
This is your open thread for the pre-game show, as well as all bitching regarding the day's action. I'll see you at 5:15 or so for the game; as you are reading this, I'll be heading back from an afternoon barbecue and Chargers-Broncos viewing to take in the night action.
See you in a bit.
Im just glad Pats / Jets is over so i dont have to listen to Nantz and Sims anymore

ReplyDeletefrom the DEN-SD game as the Broncos scored the 2-pt conversion:
ReplyDeleteDick Enberg: "The throw...is there! Eddie Royal, the Broncos win! No, wait :24 seconds left. We have no game clock here it's hidden from us..." Jeesh...
I only saw from 9 minutes left on (when everyone got switched to the game) in the Chargers/Broncs shootout and Enberg has been absolutely atrocious.
ReplyDeleteWords can't describe how bad he has been.
30 seconds left, TD pass to make it 38-37, "OVERRRTIMMME!!"
No, Dick, they're going for 2.
Two-point conversion good, "BRONCOS WINNNNNN!!!!"
NO, DICK, WE'RE NOT DONE.
And now he just referenced the push-out rule... which no longer exists.
ReplyDeleteRich Eisen while doing highlights said "packers in plus territory in the red zone."
ReplyDeleteJust say "Packers at the Lions 20"
Lose the coachspeak.
Words cannot describe how POed I am at the now finished Seahawks season.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know where the term "Forty-Burger" comes from ? Rich Eisen has used it twice in the last 15 min
ReplyDeleteAnyone catch the Pam Oliver-Joe Buck getting-defensive-about-last-season-athon?
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, the Chargers got screwed.....but the power of Norv Turner's presence has officially settled in.
ReplyDeleteI think Randy Cross needs a new prescription. Chambers didn't get either foot in bounds.
ReplyDeleteThe Broncos should not have had a chance to win that game. I say that as a fan. Eddie Guns blew that call.
