    "The Wolfpack's howlin'."

Yeah, they would be, deadbrains...especially when they play the SFX in the background on the PA system.

  5. Not an announncer comment but a HUGE blown call in the Clemson/N.C. State game, Clemson fumbled and none of the officials saw it.

Replay showed the CLEM runner clearly had the ball poked out of his hands before he was down and the replay official didn't call it a fumble.

N.C. State lost a timeout to give time for the challenge, lost another since it wasn't overturned, and C.J. Spiller later scored for Clemson. Brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  11. "They do not bring out the field goal unit here." Dave Pasch on Purdue's 4tb down from the MSU 48.

Why the hell would they try a 65-yard field goal when converting 4th and 8 is unlikely but much more probable!?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Supposedly the Purdue kicker has a leg- hitting 60's in warm up; they've been blowing him all day.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I know they were talking about the Purdue kicker making it from 60+ in warmups. Still, they had about 15-20 seconds left which could mean 2-3 plays to get closer assuming Purdue converts the 4th down.

If it was a 55-yard FG, I could understand but nobody in the NFL has made one beyond 63 let alone anybody from college.

    ReplyDelete
  33. "Tebow....and Clarence Geathers nails Jeff Demps." Verne on a hanfoff to Jeff Demps where Tebow did nothing but stand around.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Both Florida and the other USC have used all of their timeouts and there's still 3 minutes left in the 1st half!

No wonder every other 3:30 game is either at halftime already or in the second half (Iowa-Ohio St).

    ReplyDelete
  35. "It's a hairline" -Danielson on how close the Gamecocks WR's foot was to being out of bounds on the TD. And technically Boise St./Idaho has about :20 left in the half but this game is slow.

    ReplyDelete
  41. South Carolina just stuffed Tebow on 4th down and inches.

    ReplyDelete
  42. "We just wanted to fill your Saturday evening with a little bit of drah-MA (drama)." Verne desperately trying to sound hip throwing to commercial.

And Iowa just tied Ohio St. on a Vandenberg to McNutt touchdown, 24-24.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "Rather Tebowesque play by Garcia there."- Danielson, and on the next play, Garcia goes back to being Garcia by overthrowing his receiver

    ReplyDelete
  44. "Oh, my." Gary on Justin Traddou's INT on a tipped pass. Gary, you are not Dick Enberg.

Okay, I know Danielson didn't mean it that way, 10-14 point swing way as Tebow just scored on a run, 24-14 Gators.
