Regarding the first 2 anonymous posters: They are absolutely correct. The celebrations of so many in the black community was centered solely on the basis of the presidential candidate's race and that is discriminatory. How is it not racism when such a large percentage of black voters would not even consider voting for McCain based on his skin color? I can guarantee you that when the next Caucasian U.S. president is elected, people in the Caucasian community will not be celebrating in the streets and partying because of the man's skin color. Most Caucasians today are not hung up on race. We heeded Dr. Martin Luther King's advice and stopped taking note of skin color a while ago. Too bad much of the black community has not followed suit as they remain race-centric in their views.

It is pretty depressing that the anonimity of the internet allows many to show their true colors when it comes to racism.

However, deep down, it's simply nice to know that that type of thought, that mind and that way of thinking is more or less in the minority rather than the majority like it once was.
