This is actually the first time Gus Johnson has called a Browns game this year. The only CBS crew the Browns have yet to have is Enberg and Cross.

Dear David Hill -- President of FOX Sports,

Seahawks fans don't ask for much. But please don't ever give us Matt Vasgersian and J.C. Pearson ever again.

Sincerely,
Annoyed Seahawks fans

P.S. If Danyelle Seargent is the sideline reporter for the Seattle vs. St. Louis game, we're taking that as a sign you hate us and don't care how angry it makes us.

Jim Nantz is the biggest Patriots fan around. He's the same way with other notable athletes or teams: Tiger Woods and Duke basketball come to my mind right off the bat.

I think the Gobbler is the award at the end of the game for the MVP. I guess there's a new one this season. The old Gobbler was like a bobble head.

Not NFL related, but I see that ESPN has not only picked up an ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS Notre Dame/Stanford game, but they've now moved it to ESPN instead of ESPN2 and bumped the other games down to the other network.

Yep, the whole country wants to see a 2-9 team play a 4-7 (or whatever Stanford is) team. On ESPN instead of ESPN2.

tim ryan is brutal. He called the bengals game last week and said when an touchdown was being disputed said"one foot two foot, three foot there all in"

When I run a network, anyone ho uses the term "making plays" gets fined $1000...what a crutch...and it doesn't say anything...a kid could say that and Buck and Aikman have devolved into poor announcers because of it. The super bowl cant get here fast enough.

what happened to bill maas. He was actually pretty good.

Hey, I love this blog! I only just found it today but will be back often.

Question: Those two (awful) announcers who called the Saints game last weekend - Terry Donahue and Chris Rose... I see they're not calling any games this week. Who are those guys? And please tell me Fox fired them?

walk in the park -- i totally agree about 'making plays'.
but my personal favorite "it is what it is."
now THAT phrase says absolutely NOTHING.

Rose is a poor man's Jay Randolph. Let's hope he gains weight, Fox gets golf and in 2015 he can interview "the fine sponsor of this great event!"

Excellent! Gus is doing the Browns Texans game. Over/under is 51.5 with a small spread. The only question is at what point in the game Gus will stroke out doing this game.

Tony Boseli may be the worst Color Commentator in history. The hack job he's putting together on the SF/Ariz game is brutal.

Please PLEASE no more Albert/Johnstone/Siragusa for Giants games! Ugh with Fox having the BCS games. Get used to this sequence (closeup of QB, Coach, QB, fan, fan, fan, cheerleader, fan)then the play
