Video: Barry O Likes The Heels

So I figured everyone would be interested in all of Barack Obama's picks on Sports Center, and that I'd put up the video. We already knew his Final Four, but in the Final he likes UNC over Louisville for the Championship....

  1. Barack-Etology? *Palmslap*

And I must say, that's a rather safe bracket. Come on Barry O., you gotta take a few chances.

    My Final Four:
    Louisville
    UConn
    Villanova
    Gonzaga

    Winner: Louisville

Yes, I know I have a #1 seed winning it all and that's pretty safe, but I'm talking about for the Final Four you have to take a chance or 2 because it does not always pan out last year with all of the #1 seeds making it.

  2. I got Louisville over Memphis and Villanova over Gonzaga, with the Cardinals cutting down the nets.

  3. When Obama wins, I wonder what he's gonna make the guest post about. Steroids? A-Rod? The BCS? Mr. Ace?

    /very inside joke'd

  4. RJBO, EXTREMELY inside joke'd. But I get it and I love it.

As far as the brackets, picking chalk isn't sexy but it is smart.

  5. The president and I have the exact same final four picks. I find that interesting. Except I have Memphis taking on UNC, with UNC winning.

  7. Imagine the outrage if Bush took time out of his day to do this.....

  8. The leader of the free world of a country in serious economic trouble, and...he's picking basketball games...

good stuff. glad to have someone so serious and smart running things, making gigantic decisions.

Wonder how many days he spent on it?

Why would you figure this? I definitely could not care less.

  10. Pete and hollywood wags:

Because the Bush administration was the model of efficiency.... Riiiiight.

  11. I agree, Jfein. It's ridiculous that ESPN made a segment about the President filling out a tournament bracket. Are they that desperate to fill time on SC?

  12. "Because the Bush administration was the model of efficiency.... Riiiiight."

So far, what has he done that is better than Bush's first 60 days?

Care to look at the Dow?

Or do you just want to ignore it, as most people seem to do.

Hope and Change. New boss, same as the old boss, evidently.

Good thing he has time for this, to figure all this out. It's not like there are hundreds of other things he should be doing. It's not like he's filling it out in between service calls or sales calls, is it?

    President Nero.

  13. I can distinctly remember Bush getting slammed for mountain biking and for golfing "while Rome burned".

Now Barry is doing the same thing that lazy jerks sitting in a cubicle do, isn't that nice. Especially considering the problems were having in the US.

    He's on top of it!

  14. That's my whole point. Bush has and would've been crucified for doing the same type of thing. I'm not actually criticizing Obama for doing it but criticizing the media that holds such a vicious double standard.

  15. They suck, flat out suck ass. They've covered for this guy for two years, turning themselves into Cuba-style propagandists. Disturbing to anyone who has read anything on the history of the USSR.

How do you suppose our liberal friends would find Bush giving a foreign head of state cheap DVDs as a gift, and then it's found out the DVDs don't work in that foreign leader's country?

Would they call him stupid? Of course.

But Barry is much too cool, cool people can't possibly be stupid.

Maybe he's just too busy, but then he isn't if he can fill out a stupid bracket and be filmed doing it.

    It is simply fucking astounding.

  16. I know its nitpicking but I like how around the 40 second mark you see Florida State written as Flo. State when its usually seen on sports shows as Fla. State or even FSU...

  17. “Good afternoon. The President made an offhand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics. He thinks that the Special Olympics are a wonderful program that gives an opportunity to shine to people with disabilities from around the world.”
