“Man, I could care less about what Jon Barry is saying. That’s what he’s doing what he’s doing and we’re doing what we’re doing. What he says don’t amount to nothing. Again, I don’t even know why I’ve wasted my words on Jon Barry. My focus right now is with my team and trying to get ready for Cleveland. I’m trying to figure out what has he done in the league, really. That’s just how I look at. I’m moving on.”Well that's one way to take criticism, I guess. I mean, the guy did have 12 points in 3 minutes, during a Playoff game. But when you played for eight teams in your fourteen year career, you're going to get the criticism. ReplyDeleteHe has a point in questioning Barry's credentials, but JB was right.
ReplyDeleteThat series was just awful. Every game was a blowout, and barring a couple flagrants was unwatchable.
Ironically, both people are right. Woodson's team sucks and Jon Barry has no room to criticize.
ReplyDeleteJohn Barry played 14 years in the NBA not because he was the most talented or athletic but because he understood the game and how to play. He is also able to articulate a point well. Not only that is the point he made about the series was absolutely true.
ReplyDeleteWell, if the Hawks are searching for motivation, the WWL has given them numerous promptings.
