As a matter of fact I couldn't even have the sound on my television during one of his games he pissed me off so much. He's irritating, his stupid comments aren't funny, he had an annoying man crush on Brett Favre to the point I'm surprised he didn't wear a hole in the knees of his pants. Personally I agree with others I think he probably should have hung it up when Summerall did. That being said I like him more than Collinsworth and wish he was there instead of him. P.S.: Could ESPN stop making it look like he died seriouslly, they did the same stuff when Dungy and Favre retired. That made him a home-team announcer on the network level (same for his partner/crony Pat Summerall). At the end he bounced around based on his reputation.

NBC has confirmed Cris (no "h") Collinsworth will replace Madden in the booth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28221516.post-17730049504095492742009-04-16T14:42:00.000-04:002009-04-16T14:42:00.000-04:00He was much better when he was younger.

To me, at times his analysis was redundant but he's better than the likes of Dan Dierdorf so he has that going for him. Personally, I'm a Randy Cross/Solomon Wilcots fan. Nevertheless, he leaves a legacy of excellence and the NFL will miss him.Brad Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13456357334026142358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28221516.post-43363449802061736222009-04-16T13:06:00.000-04:002009-04-16T13:06:00.000-04:00I never got disgusted with Madden like I do with s...I never got disgusted with Madden like I do with so many others but I thought he was overrated. He treated viewers like this was their first time watching a football game too often and rambled on about obvious things. I like an analyst to point out things I didn't already see or know. He would never be on my greatest or hated list.Math Geekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09942121424531924830noreply@blogger.com
