The Lebron And Kobe Puppets Do Sports Center

Well they don't exactly "do" Sports Center per se, but rather sing the intro song as annoyingly as possible for 20 seconds. For some reason Nike managed to get the Kobe and Lebron puppets onto the Sports Center set, and this is what they came up with....



While some people think these spots are hilarious, I still can't quite figure them out. Sure they're entertaining, but they're not really selling anything specific, which is rare. I guess Nike is just banking on a Lakers-Cavs Finals matchup like the rest of the world.

    I use the term "lame". What is this fascination with puppets? I don't get them. Leave the puppets to Sesame Street.

    Or at least bring back Lil Penny when...I mean, if LeBron & Kobe both make it to the Finals.

    I don't even think the puppets are entertaining. There is no point to them other than a blatant hoping on the part of Nike that it is a Kobe v. LeBron finals.

    Come on now, why are ya'll hating on the puppets? These commercials have humor written all over them. And of course they're betting on a LeBron-Kobe Finals. Everybody's betting on it.

    speaking of ESPN commercials, WHY is the insufferable Stuart Scott in practically every single one of them? Is it in his contract? It's like some government entitlement program, seeing his mug every time.

    The Donald should take Al Jaffe's spot at ESPN. Trump: "Stu," you're fired." That would be awesome television for those of us who hold the English language in high regard.
