I love watching the NBA Draft Lottery every year, just for the moment when the representative from team with the best shot ends up getting the 4th pick. The schadenfreude is off the charts. Well this year's lottery was no different, with Chris Webber and Flip Saunders being the lucky charms. Here's your video....
Ugh. Could there be a worse pick in this year's draft besides five? I doubt it. Jordan Hill wouldn't be a bad pick, but I have a feeling the Wiz are going to get stuck with the choice of Hardin, Evans, DeRozan or a trade. I like Evans, but a trade might be worth it. Start up your mock drafts people!
1. LA Clippers
2. Memphis
3. Oklahoma City
4. Sacramento
5. Washington
6. Minnesota
7. Golden State
8. New York
9. Toronto
10. Milwaukee
11. New Jersey
12. Toronto
13. Indiana
14. Phoenix
ESPN is banking on Blake Griffin being the #1 overall pick. In all likelihood he could be but don't make assumptions like that 1 month before the draft actually begins.
ReplyDeleteSucks for your Wizards, Hardin will be a bust. As for my Sonics, they will........crap.
Can the #1 pick ask to be traded before the draft?
ReplyDeleteI only ask because it's the Clippers and the subject might come up....

ReplyDeleteSI.com refuses to believe the Clippers won.

The Clippers should get the inside presence that they were missing in Elton Brand leaving. It has to hurt Blake that Oklahoma City was so close.
ReplyDeleteTyreke Evans will be a really good draft pick, but I really don't believe in Mike Harden. DeMarcus DeRozan is an intriguing prospect, but it'll probably be heartbreaking when his NBA team pays him less than Tim Floyd did.
