While I'm certainly not a fan, I'm not writing off his show entirely....yet. Part of the reason Buck became so annoying, was because he decided to move away from the "everyman" approach, and let his ego takeover the broadcasts. Hopefully this new venue will give him some much needed "AA" (attitude adjustment).
Joe Buck is a MASSIVE tool.
ReplyDeleteWhen he guest-hosted late-night while CBS (or whatever) was trying to find a Craig Kilborn replacement, Buck held is own and was actually pretty funny.
ReplyDeletePatrick, you need to evaluate your life and decide if suicide is the answer. Joe Buck has never been amusing.
ReplyDeleteOn the heels of Canseco's actual press conference a few weeks back, this Buck commercial is somewhat clever & amusing.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Buck has almost never displayed a sense of humor on the air during the past decade.
Shouldn't his "dry wit" have been on display at least a few times during the hundreds of events that he has announced?
Well, maybe I'll take a look. Given the intention of having celebs in the audience, I wonder if HBO is really hoping for another old school-new school fight amongst the media. Buck seems like he can be somewhat in between them...
ReplyDeleteOut of nowhere, John Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Joe Buck!
ReplyDeleteBuck is down, Buck is out! What's this?! Cena just pretended to pull down his shorts and moon the unconscious Joe Buck!
That was despicable.
If Troy Aikman punched Joe Buck in the face during an NFL broadcast, now that would be funny.
