Phil Simms Likes It What?

Before I get into this post, I want to make two things clear. First, this quote is taken completely out of context. Second, I have a twelve year-old's sense of humor. With that out of the way, let's take a look back at the AFC Championship game and Phil Simms saying he "likes it tight", while Jim Nantz chuckles!

Too good. I like how Phil pointed out that he mentioned "he likes it tight" during Halftime, and still thought it would be a good idea to say it going into the second half. At least he knows what he likes. Good for you, Phil. Good for you.

  1. Soooo....this is what this site has been reduced to, eh? You had a good run but you should probably just quit. I'm quitting...I come here once a week hoping that it's the good site I remember. It never is. Goodbye, it was fun while it lasted.

  5. wow, AA, you're done

yet, you're like Rickey Henderson...still trying to catch on because you're the only one who doesn't realize that it's over

  6. What I don't get about Phil Simms is that he went on and on about Rex Ryan's decision to "defer" after winning the coin toss. Phil seemed under the impression that the Jets would be kicking off both at the start of the game and the start of the second half. He has made this mistake before. Does he not understand what "defer" means? Can this guy seriously not know how the freakin' coin toss works?!

  7. Odds that people who don't find this funny are women-- 3:1

Odds that people who don't find this funny are Giants fans-- 3:2

Odds that this is actually, objectively funny-- even money.
