West Virginia fans have been known to be pretty wild at times, and during last night's game against Pittsburgh, they reared their collective ugly head again. Fans threw items on the court at multiple points during the game, hit a Pitt assistant coach in the face, and even got yelled at by Bob Huggins. It was an ugly scene, and FSN's Mark Adams got a tad bit upset about the whole ordeal....
Wow. He almost lost his voice during that whole exchange. I mean it's a little beyond ridiculous that the fans started throwing stuff on the court when their team was up ten points and ultimately won by 19. Welcome to West "F**kin" Virginia!
Mark Adams is actually an ESPN announcer - the game is regionally aired on FSN in Pittsburgh. But, hey, it's not like AA ever gets anything wrong on here.
Cry, Cry, Cry. Give me a break, shit happens. Like fans throughout America aren't a hell of a lot worse? Such bullshit. You can show disapproval, but have some perspective before being so critical.
wild fans = uneducated hilljacks that do not know how to behave

ReplyDeleteI don't disagree with anything he said and I'm not surprised by his emotion.
ReplyDeleteAdams said all that rant, and then...
ReplyDelete"Happens once... OK".
WTF?
As a Pitt loyalist, I know I'm terribly biased, but this is a perfect example of WVU fans as the rule, not the exception.
