Sorry for the quality, but you get the idea. Great fight and if Shields had landed that haymaker Crisp would have been done. I give it a 7 out of 10 on the Basebrawl scale. Good times. It's still the dumbest thing in the world to take on a whole infield before your team can get to you, but whatever floats your boat.

ReplyDeletendn - fights almost never happen in basketball games. Those are usually just shoving matches. Besides that, fights are an accepted part of the game in baseball and hockey (against the rules, certainly, but traditional nonetheless); they aren't in basketball.

How come when the Rays do something cheap, like, I don't know, trying to hurt runners at 2nd or cheap-shotting a guy while someone holds him down like bitches it's "good hard baseball", but when someone else does the same thing or answers for it, it's "dirty".
