Your Euro 2008 Announcing Schedule- Week One


SS Reporters did some sleuthing and came up with the Announcing Schedule for the first seven days of Euro 2008. The good news is that Andy Gray will be getting a ton of games and while Robbie Mustoe was mentioned in the original release, he may not even get a game in the first week. Here's the schedule....

  4. Andy Gray's a decent ringer: he has a fat contract with Sky in the UK, but since the Euro 2008 rights are with the terrestrial broadcasters (BBC/ITV) he'd be twiddling his thumbs otherwise. He's a good choice, but Julie Foudy's going to feel like it's the boys' club with him around.

    Mustoe's still finding his feet in the booth -- I remember him as a player, and his day job is as a BU assistant coach -- and he appears to be getting the odd match that Gray takes a pass on.

    Best bit of ESPN's coverage so far: a little more halftime and post-match analysis. If you watch coverage in Europe, even on the commercial networks, there's a lot more replay-analysis stuff.
