Obama Joins CBS Announcing Booth During Duke-Georgetown Game

Over the weekend, there was some great College Basketball games, but all the focus was on Duke and Georgetown because Barry Obama was in the house. For most of the game, Obama looked on courtside, but in the second half he decided to stop by the booth and chat with Verne Lundquist and Clark Kellogg....

Not a bad job really. They didn't make him do a whole lot of play by play, but I really enjoyed the "go to the right" joke.

  6. This would not be the first time a sitting president has done announcing for a major sports contest. Ronald Reagan joined Harry Caray and called play-by-play for part of an inning in 1987 at Wrigley Field. Reagan was a PBP man in his early years.
