If you've heard anything about Pros vs. Joes over the past few months, it's that just about every athlete has gotten into a brawl with the contestants. Well Spike released the promos for this year's contest (Season Four), and your hosts for this year will be none other than FOX Sports', Jay Glazer and Michael Strahan! Here's a look....

Seems fun enough, right? The premier episode is this Monday, April 27th, at 11pm on Spike TV. Hopefully Pacman doesn't go postal on anyone.

An absolutely bizarre interview on the NFL Today before the Ravens and Titans got underway, with Adam Jones and his lawyer talking about the accusations that he hired someone to shoot a couple of guys he came across in Atlanta, which wound up probably getting him cut by the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week. Jones said he's planning to sue ESPN, but for now....just an utterly surreal interview with him and James Brown, in which he admits his like of strip clubs (but who doesn't?) and a belief that the Cowboys will re-sign him (that seems a little pipe-dreamish.)

ESPN just aired a portion of the Outside The Lines piece that will air in its entirety this Sunday, and I take back everything I said about them ever getting "egg on their face". Not only do they have accounts from parties at the Atlanta strip club about Pacman the night in question, but they also have surveillance footage of Jones entering "Club Blaze" just past midnight. Here is the snippet that just aired on Sports Center....

It's sad that Adam Jones' career is likely over, especially considering the talent that he had, but it's even more sad that he just couldn't keep things together after second, third and fourth chances. I can't believe that it took this long for the story to come out, and good job by ESPN on being the first to investigate/break the item.

ESPN should be sued for a lot of things, but it appears that this isn't one of them.

By now, you've all heard that Adam "Pacman" Jones was dropped by the Dallas Cowboys, and that it's been alleged by ESPN that the cornerback was involved in yet another strip club shooting in June of 2007. Well last night Pacman denied all of the allegations and said he would sue ESPN....

The June 2007 shooting occurred outside a suburban Atlanta strip club. One of the shooting victims told "Outside the Lines" that he had a dispute with Jones inside the strip club and that not long after he and the two others left the club, a hail of bullets struck their car. The NFL knew about that incident, but charges were never brought against anyone because the victims did not see the shooter.

"Outside the Lines" obtained information that police, investigating a separate Atlanta-area case, had been told by an informant that Jones ordered the June 2007 shooting following his dispute with one of the men. Police have said while the case remains open they are not actively investigating.

Jones denied the report and told the Dallas Morning News: "It will be a lawsuit in a week against ESPN. That's stupid. It's so stupid I have no more comments."

Man, oh man. ESPN better be damn sure they're right on this one. Even if they are, it's a huge gamble because if he's found not guilty for lack of evidence (which seems to be where this is heading), they're the ones with egg on their face. Of course, the Cowboys releasing him is a good sign that the case could be a strong one.

Pacman out as 2007 shooting surfaces (ESPN)

I'm still of the mind set that Hard Knocks is pretty much always entertaining, but this season hasn't been the greatest. It definitely pales in comparison to previous years, but it still has its moments. I've pulled out everything "relevant" from the second that's noteworthy and our grand total is a three minutes. That's pretty bad for an hour show.

In all honesty, you're not really missing anything if you don't get HBO. Hopefully these clips will give you a sense of what's going down, but I think this quote from Barry Horn of the Dallas Morning News sums the show up best....

Romo continues to be a bit player while the cameras appear to love Terrell Owens almost as much as he loves himself.

Almost halfway through the series and not a single tense moment. Things will heat up just as they did in The Godfather. They have to. Or else they'll have to change the series name to Soft Knocks.

I was looking forward to the first episode of Hard Knocks almost as much as I was looking forward to the Hall of Fame Game. I also can't say I was disappointed in the least either. Being the start of camp there wasn't much Football outside of a gigantic block from Marion Barber, but the first showing was still good. Pacman was Pacman, T.O. was T.O. and Jerry was Jerry.

Ahh, good times. I'm still not quite sure how Adam Jones gets to welcome anyone to the Cowboys, but I'm not going to be the one to argue with him. Other highlights from the show included the T.O.-Pacman one on one battle, Rookie RB Keon Lattimore (MD) falling up some stairs, and the coaches slobbering over Jason Witten. There was no Jessica Simpson, which is good, but you know she's coming on at some point. Should be a good season.
