SNL Lampoons TNT Basketball
Sunday, May 17, 2009
Saturday Night Live had their season finale last night, and mixed in among the Will Ferrell favorites was a hilarious sketch involving TNT Basketball. The sketch show mocked the advertisements on Inside The NBA for other TNT shows, with a show called "Mark", and here's the hilarious video....
I still think "40 Days in 40 Nights" is a huge undertaking, and one of the best produced Sports programs, but those ads do get pretty annoying. Very funny. Oh and Ferrell also did another Harry Caray impression on Weekend Update that you should check out, when they put it up on Hulu.

Hader did not get E.J.'s voice deep enough. He really did look a lot like him, though.
TNT's new slogan: "TNT- America's 12th most-watched network."
And that skit was turrible, just turrible.
The Jeopardy skit with Tom Hanks was way better. Play that one!
Mike Fratello should be pissed that the SNL writers stole his reaction during last year's playoffs.
Also, the season finale of Family Guy made a very similar "disrupting ad" joke four times tonight.
That was funny?
It's amazing how much hilarious gets thrown around these days for something painfully unfunny.
I didn't think that skit was that great, but Inside the NBA mentioned it last night:

Screw SNL. I haven't watched it in 13 years, at least. I think that TNT has the best show on television so obviously everyone's jealous. No one can replicate Inside the NBA.
classic SNL: running a horrible joke into the ground for about 2 minutes too long
