I'm surprised that CBS isn't sending their #1 team of Nantz/Simms to the Saturday night primetime game in Indy. Gumbel/Dierdorf, however, aren't that much of a drop off. They are a lot better than Joe Buck.

It is totally lame that the two teams that won on Sunday are forced to play next Saturday, while yesterday's early winners get to wait until next Sunday to play. Stupid tv scheduling.

They shortchanged the Bengals and Jets between week 17 sunday night and the early Saturday game yesterday too.

Nantz and Simms were talking yesterday about how they were going to San Diego, which leads me to believe CBS was banking on a New England-San Diego game for their lead duo.

Not dierdork! Ugh.

The Cardinals got screwed because of Fox and the NFL, period. The world was going to end if the Cowboys didn't get the primetime Saturday game, and you know they weren't giving Cowboys vs. Favre the God-awful (ratings-wise) Saturday afternoon slog.

So the NFL clearly takes $ and the Cowboys selfish interests ahead of fairness for the rest of its teams.

It's shameful and nobody's reporting it.

Why does CBS get both late games? I'd either flip-flop the Saturday games, or flip-flop the AFC games so the networks can flip between Saturday and Sunday like they normally do. (Preferably the latter, because the Cowboys-Favre-slurp-fest is on at an inconvenient time for late-sleeping West Coasters.)

Minnesota fans are upset that Anderson, a Texas native, is refereeing the Cowboys game. I guess Jerry Jones always gets his way.

Before the playoffs even started, the 1 and 2 seeds were given their start times for the second round.

Arizona was the 4 seed. If Philly had won, Arizona would have been playing the Vikings and therefore been playing on Sunday.

It had nothing to do with who won in round one. The two 1 seeds play on Saturday this week, the two 2 seeds play on Sunday.
