I'm sure Terrell Owens thinks he can do whatever he wants these day, you know, with his own reality show and all. But I'm not sure if analyst work is in his future. Owens decided to make an appearance on WKBW news, and actually call his own highlights and interview....

There are a lot of things you can say about Terrell Owens, but making a bad first impression, isn't one of them. It's amazing how crazy people go for him when he joins a new team, and how quickly they forget his previous transgressions. I mean, Buffalo already gave him a key to the f'ing city! They better be have a clause that says they can get it back when he disappears in week four.

Those new NBA commercials with the split screen kind of weird me out, so imagine my surprise when Sports Center used the same setup for Neil Everett and John Buccigross.

Weiiiiiird but highly entertaining. I still maintain that every creative writer and anchor is working late nights at ESPN. Good stuff.

I hate to continually harp on Chris Berman and his goings on, but this Greatest Highlight thing is turning into a complete embarrassment for ESPN and Berman himself. This latest rehashing of the Cal-Stanford Band Play is just ridiculous and I have to share it with all of you.....

Many (if not all) Sports fans hold highlights these in such a regard that it's almost sacreligious to air them in any other format then they were originally broadcast. ESPN should be embarrassed for airing Who's Now because it was ridiculous and pointless, but they should be ashamed for airing the Greatest Highlight.

People in the blogging/internet world call out ESPN for hiring cartoonish and boisterous characters and placing them in annoying debates on their airwaves. This is a prime example of that criticism. In light of recent events regarding Chris Berman and these "highlights" I can't think of a way I'll ever respect him as a broadcaster again (not that I ever had).

I know some of you won't/don't feel as passionately about these things and think I sometimes go overboard, but I just can't stand nonsense like this.
