CBS Coverage Maps For Friday
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
Again KS comes through with Friday's maps, and I am told to post them I must say Go Wisconsin and Go Butler (nobody tell him I have Wisconsin losing in the 2nd Round). Here they are....I hope you got the game you wanted!

I got two Nantz/Packer games but I guess that's the price I have to pay for the two Gus games I get on Thursday. See you early tomorrow with the rundown for the Tourney. Thanks again to KS and MU Scoop for the maps.

Any guesses as to why Anchorage has the South Alabama-Butler game, but the rest of Alaska gets Austin Peay-Texas?
Hahaha...I have no idea. Is Trajon Langdon playing for South Alabama now?
@willmott:
...because Butler played in the Great Alaska Shootout in Anchorage? Just a guess. Boise State-Louisville is on in Honolulu instead of R-Kansas (as pronounced by Les Miles)-Indiana for some reason, too.
Side note: Let me give props to Jonathan Hood of ESPN 1000 in Chicago for having the best Steve Lavin impersonation I've ever heard.
I've got three Nantz/Packer games, including the pointless UNC/Mount St Mary's game (seriously, how did they decide the Midwest would rather have that than ... I dunno, any one of the three interesting games going on at that time?). Guess I'll just have to pull in the Birmingham feed on MMOD on my laptop.
AA, are you aware that Gus Johnson gave you a shoutout on Simmons' podcast today?
Ditto, spartandan. My only hope is that they switch over to another game as soon as UNC's up by 20 -- in other words, three minutes into the first half.
@ rick james bible owner: Honolulu gets the Boise State game because Hawaii, just like Boise State, is a WAC team.
I didn't Anon...thanks.
As far as the MSM-UNC game goes, I'm just glad that it's a flex game, and not a game that I'm locked in to. When I was in Buffalo last year for the first two rounds, the bar I was in had the tournament on, but being in Buffalo only the Niagara game was being shown, even when it got waaaay out of hand.
Hey, at least the wings were all they were cracked up to be.
By the way, I don't know if anyone noticed, but the maps for Thursday confirm that Carter Blackburn has the Marquette-Kentucky game, while Dick Enberg has both the BYU-Texas A&M game and the UCLA-Mississippi Valley State game. I wouldn't be surprised if Blackburn has the Stanford-Cornell game, too.
Sorry to clog up the thread, but Carter Blackburn is on the call for the Stanford game.
@willmott 10:50:
Makes sense, unlike me if I try to post anymore tonight. I see Central Illinois get treated to Siena-Vandy (ex-Illinois State coach Kevin Stallings?). I'm in the same boat as spartandan on the games; I wish there was a Lavinburger or Brando, Gminski & Bardo train wreck to make the Friday calls a little more interesting.
this is a public service. thank you aa.
On the maps, what does contant mean? It's the striped parts.
Gus Johnson says thank you from the Simmons podcast (to Awful Announcing too) to getting him back for the second round. Nice work man.
"Constant" feeds are where the assigned games are supposed to be shown without frequent interruptions.
thanks everett w.
Lots of coverage of the IU/Ark game, which will probably turn out to be pretty ugly.
