ESPN's Bracket Busters Schedule Released
Monday, February 11, 2008

I think I'm at the point in the College Basketball Season where I can't even stand to watch any of the major conferences. It happens every year without failing. First it's the Big Ten (50-45 games are never fun), then the Big XII, then the Pac 10, and finally the ACC (I don't even think I start watching SEC teams until the tourney). That's why ESPN's Bracket Busters Weekend+ is coming at the perfect time.
Here's the schedule that they released today, and I'm ready for it to be February 22nd already....
Fri., 2/22
7 p.m. Davidson at Winthrop ESPN2
9 p.m. UC Santa Barbara at Utah State ESPNU
Sat., 2/23
11 a.m. Virginia Commonwealth at Akron ESPN2
1 p.m. George Mason at Ohio ESPN2
3 p.m. Creighton at Oral Roberts ESPN2
4:30 p.m. Nevada at Southern Illinois ESPNU
5 p.m. #15 Drake at #10 Butler ESPN2
6 p.m. Miami (Ohio) at Valparaiso ESPN Classic
6:30 p.m. Marist at Cleveland State ESPNU
9 p.m. Rider at Cal State Northridge ESPNU
9 p.m. UW Milwaukee at Bradley ESPN360.com
10 p.m. Siena at Boise State ESPN360.com
11:59 p.m. Kent State at #21 Saint Mary’s ESPN2
Sun., 2/24
6:30 p.m. Wright State at Illinois State ESPNU
The teams you should watch besides Drake and Butler are Siena and Ohio. I've seen Siena play twice this year and they're more exciting than half the teams in the Top 25, and Ohio put a whooping on the Terps (my team) back in December. Should be a great three days.

Erin Andrews Is Aware Of The AOL-AA Worst Announcers Bracket, You Should Be Too!
Friday, November 09, 2007

Recently, Extra Mustard got to speak with Erin Andrews about her love for their site, but more importantly the fact that she's been alluded to AOL's Best and Worst Announcer Brackets that AA took part in putting together.
SI.com: So we were thrilled to see you like Extra Mustard, especially since you're one of our go-to "celebrities" who we can always count on to generate lots of hits.So if EA's taking a gander so should you. Why? Not because she's graced the webpage's presence, but because I honestly couldn't be more disappointed in the voting. Take a look at some of these matchups......
Andrews: My girlfriend and I always go to it. She religiously goes to it and I started going to it because it always has good scoops on the boys and a lot of people in sports. My girlfriend sent me a link to Hot Clicks the other day because you had an item about a contest on sideline reporters. She said I better hope I get some votes.

Okay, I can understand that maybe Sal Masekela is a bit more annoying than Jim Gray, but Joe Morgan and Chris Berman getting knocked out in the first round?!?! You people are crazy. I want you each to email me personally and tell me why you like Joe Morgan. I will then post your responses in and let the AA readers pick you apart like vultures.Reggie Miller worse than Joe Morgan......Who are these people?!?!

ESPN Considers Almost 1/3rd Of All Division One College Basketball Teams To Be A "Bracket Buster"
Friday, August 24, 2007

I can't really decide if this is overkill or not because too much College Basketball is never a bad thing. Buuuut....having this many teams eligible for only 14 Bracket Buster games might be overdoing it.
The games will be on February 22nd and 23rd on either ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN 360, or ESPN Classic. Why Classic is running a game is beyond me. Here are all the "eligible" teams/matchups according to the Leader....
