It's Dangerous Being A Sideline Reporter Around Rasheed Wallace

I've seen shaving cream pies to the face in Baseball, but I've never seen a whole team throw Basketballs at a teammate during an interview. Well now I have thanks to Need 4 Sheed....

I don't care how manly you are...that's gotta hurt after about the third of twenty balls thrown at your back. Hilarious.

If He Had Said That "Sweet Caroline" Was The Greatest Song Ever, He Might've Had A Point

Deadspin had this video on Saturday, but I enjoyed it way too much not to post it here as well. And it even involves announcing of the awful variety! I'm 3-for-3 this weekend! I rule!

I realize I'm a bit of a freakish exception, considering I'm a Red Sox fan who grew up listening to Neil Diamond, but we need to talk, Jeff Van Gundy (that is Van Gundy, right? I'm not crazy, right?). Not knowing that "Sweet Caroline" is played during the eighth inning of every Red Sox home game? Acceptable, especially if you're not from the Boston area and don't follow baseball too closely. Not knowing that Neil Diamond sang "Sweet Caroline"? Inexcusable.

And your indignation at Mike Breen when he basically called you a moron for your views on "Fever Pitch"? Understandable - unless, of course, you were arguing that "Fever Pitch" was one of the greatest sports movies ever. If that is your position, then you do not deserve to have a vote in this matter, and Mike Breen should probably be given a free shot at your face. (And for the record, "Fever Pitch" isn't even in the all-time top five in terms of baseball movies, let alone sports movies.)
