Silver, Glazer And Schefter Discuss "Integrity" Of NFL Reporting
Tuesday, January 27, 2009
Another interesting crossover happened during Media Day on the NFL Network. A panel including NFL News Breakers, Jay Glazer of FOX, Michael Silver of Yahoo and Adam Schefter of the NFL-N, discussed reporting on the league and "journalistic integrity". You can even catch a slight jab at the one NFL reporter missing from the round table....
The panel was obviously missing that one key participant that Glazer took said jab at, but that certainly could have been by design. Great discussion all around, and it's interesting that the two up-and-comers are actually friendly and respectful of each other. I don't really know what was going on with Silver's glasses, but great points from him on the Internet side of things as well.
Oh and speaking of Mort, is he even in Tampa today? I haven't seen him moseying around among the masses at all.

Did anyone discuss the "integrity" of Glazer's glasses... Good God.. could he BE any more corny.
Unbutton one more shirt button and he'd be trying out for the WWE.
Taking a page out of the Book of M.O.R.T. (Master Of Ridiculous Tips), I want to clarify my earlier post. Mort said the Raiders played their last Super Bowl "right here in Tampa," only to be corrected by Trey Wingo that the Raiders-Bucs Super Bowl was played in San Diego.
Those are Tomlin glasses. Mr Silver is wearing the old Vuarnets!!!
Duuuuuude...
And Jamie Dukes, why is he on tv? He's awful.
Glazer is really honing his Bill Goldberg impression.
Mort is a tool....saying a team is considering doing something....that's what teams do every day. He could throw a dart and make it stick and be right b/c teams consider just about everything.
How about Jay Glazer trying to look Hollywood. He's got to be hotter than that to pull off that look.
So what is it that that Dukes character said about putting a bullet in someone's head?
That guy is a freakin tool. I heard him on the radio, he used every single sports cliche, in the book, at the end of the day.
Mike Shanahan will be the next coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sincerely,
Mort
Mort's been on at least one NFL Live segment yesterday and today. Today, on a report about the fall of the Oakland Raiders, Mort said Super Bowl XXXVII was played "right here in Tampa." I'm not kidding.
