Gold? More like urine colored.

"Paul hits a 3 to match his distance.....no, it's a 2 now." - Grandpa Dick
No, Dick, it never was a 3. It was nowhere close to a 3.
"His ability to get his head down and go to the rim is really impressive." - Jay Bilas
"I want to duel with Thabeet." - Grandpa Dick
Ummmmm.........no.
"That'll be no Boston Tea Party." - Grandpa Dick on the Nova-Pitt game.
I have never been more aware of how terrible Dick Enberg is until this game. He has constantly misidentified players (usually correcting himself after saying the name of the wrong player), mentions a player's name when they are not involved in the action, makes unwitty/unfunny comments, and in general rambles on with little to contribute to the enjoyment or knowledge of the game.

"You'd rather give up something inside the (3 point) line than something outside". -Jay Bilas
"Advantage UCONN." - Jay Bilas, when uconn is up 5 and at the line with 7 seconds to go.
Oh really, Jay? Are you sure that the team up 5 has the advantage? How much do you get paid to make these brilliant observations?
Enberg, on Nova-Pitt: "That'll be no Boston Tea party."
Yeah, Grandpa Dick's so old, he attended the original one in 1770!
I'll take Dick Enberg and his malaprops over Gus Johnson's screaming over a run-of-the-mill time out any day.
Grandpa Dickl with a fift cent word thrown in: "Conncecticut omnipetant from the start."
