Your Thursday Regional Maps
Thursday, March 26, 2009
Thanks to the colorful SS Reporters, and the506, I'm proud to present what you've all been looking for. The regional maps for tonight's games! The majority of the Country will be getting the UConn and Duke games, but those lucky of you to be in the Mid-Atlantic region for the early games and Middle of the country for the late ones, will get the alternatives.
I'll have open threads and highlights later on tonight, but in the meantime check out which game(s) you'll be getting....

I found it tedious to color the islands. ;-)
For the first time ever, an NCAA basketball game will be available for fish! ;-)
These maps are garbage. Somebody introduce these people to the concept of TV markets. It's not possible for the Missouri side of Kansas City to get one game while the Kansas side gets another. It's also not possible for SE Missouri and Western Kentucky to get a different game than Southern Illinois.
Oklahoma???? Big Xavier and Pitt fan base out there? Really?
Bah, forgot to edit that.
I'll fix that.
These are the affiliate assignments.....

Yeah BK, no joke that Oklahoma is getting Xavier/Pitt.
The people in Central Wyoming were clammoring for the Memphis game were they?
It was the only notable market in Wyoming that wanted it.......
The map has been updated on my site......again, if I goofed then please let me know.
Central Wyoming loves any team named Tigers!
I don't get why Arizona doesn't show the Memphis-Missouri game. I can understand that Boston doesn't show Xavier-Pitt since there's probably many UConn fans there, but Phoenix doesn't really have a stake in either of the late games. Why not show the one being played in your area?
I second Ethan. As CBS3 in Philly and WBOC-16 in Maryland are airing Xavier-Pitt, South Jersey and all of Delaware should be blue.
all the fish in Alaska came down to Hawaii last night because they weren't getting any games...ratings should be up for CBS
It should be noted that the waters surrounding Hawaii are also excited to be receiving UConn-Purdue and Duke -Villanova
