Your NCAA Tournament Announcing Schedule (Rounds 1 & 2)
Sunday, March 15, 2009
Well that was a heck of a Selection Show, huh? Arizona, Wisconsin and Dayton are in....Creighton, Penn State and Virginia Tech, are out. There are always cases to be made for every team that heads to the N.I.T., but the simple fact that Arizona has gotten in, back-to-back years, is a crime. Anyway, we can sit here and argue things all day long, but I say let's skip that and focus on the games at hand.
The fans who won this year's "Annual Gus Johnson Lottery" are as follows: Boston College, USC, Michigan State, Robert Morris, West Virginia, Dayton, Kansas and North Dakota State (GO BISON!)

Thanks for the consolidation... tell me our Terps don't have Brando and Gminski please!
I'm pretty sure Brando and Gminski are in KC while Eagle and Spanarkel are in Miami.
It appears as if everything is right on the schedule but the list up top has Harlan/Bonner, Brando/Gminski, and Eagle/Spanarkel mixed up.
Even though I'm not going to be there, there was a part of me that would have liked to have seen Gus Johnsop placed in Philadelphia.
MARCH MADNESS, BABY! I'M STOKED!
Cheap shot at Dayton. Dayton beat Xavier and dominated a healthy Marquette team on a neutral court.
Coverage maps coming soon?
Here's one fan who is thrilled that we "won" the Gus Johnson lottery... by that I mean he's 1,200 miles away from my team...
I'm excited to hear Rafter call a great VCU game.
U-Dub at 2:00 PM PT?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even when Seattle wins we lose.
Sorry Brett, it is Brando in KC for the Maryland game!
Who is Dan Wenzel anyway?
Sorry Brett, it is Brando in KC for the Maryland game!
...and the Michigan game, too. Fuck.
So who's in Philadelphia again?
One thing says Verne Lundquist and the other says Dick Enberg?
Huh?
Sorry about the list up top. I jacked it up. The games below are definitely correct.
On his radio show, Brando says he's in KC. So, yeah, second list.
Tim Brando is calling the Cal game. Just another thing to add to my depression.
Does Dick Enberg automatically get sent to follow UCLA? Happened last year too.
Any clue what the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight are? I assume Nantz/Kellog, Johnson/Elmore, Enberg/Bilas, and Lundquist/Raftery?
YES! Finally, here in Utah we get extended Ian Eagle/Jim Spanarkel coverage because they're doing Utah against the UofA Friday at Miami. Ian Eagle is so underrated, he's the Torry Holt of play-by-play men. His greatness is never appreciated but when you hear him, you realize he's right up there with the best in the business.
Frick. Bolerjack and Wenzel for BOTH the Marquette and UW games. I was hoping to get a little variety.
Carter Blackburn I heard will be doing the afternoon games on Thursday in Philadelphia, so Enburg will do the evening games Thursday and the Saturday games as well.

These don't match up. Up top it says Kansas City has Harlan, but then below in the listing, KC has Brando.
