Barkley Goes On Dan Patrick's Show And Addresses Charity Poker Event
Friday, June 20, 2008
There isn't really anything groundbreaking that comes out during the talk, but it's interesting to hear how paranoid Chuck comes across....
I'm pretty sure that most people in the media really like Charles and they're actually trying to help him, but I could be wrong. Barkley also said during that he, "wasn't going to gamble and he's not going to gamble", but that's not the whole piece. He said he wasn't going to even set foot in a Casino for two years. I wish Chuck all the best, but it's never just that easy.

I actually understand what he means. He is playing Poker, but he doesn't stand to loose money and he doesn't stand to gain any. (The premise of gambling.)
He is participating in a charity event that involves playing poker.
His other comment regarding not entering a casino for two years is harder to understand.
But he did say he went in and didn't gamble, so I spose no harm no foul.
I am defending the guy, but everything he does it highlighted in the media.
