Tiger Woods Enjoys A Good Fart
Sunday, August 02, 2009
Tiger Woods went on to easily win the Buick Open yesterday, but it didn't come without some drama on the 18th. Up three strokes going into the last hole, Tiger played his drive into the fairway. While he waited for his chance at shot number two, someone decided it was the perfect time to release their bowels....
Now some of you may think that was fake, but I assure you that was exactly what was played live on CBS. Good times in the PGA this season.

Someone On Sports Center Was A Little Bit Gassy This Morning
Tuesday, September 23, 2008
A few emails came in right around 10:30 this morning saying that either Josh Elliott or John Clayton ripped one during an NFL segment. Being your intrepid video reporter, and an expert of flatulence, I'm here to provide the clip and tell you that it certainly sounds like someone had too much broccoli last night. Listen closely around the :11 mark....
While it could be a mic mishap, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't. I'm putting my money on Clayton, but we should get a definitive word on it either way soon enough. Your thoughts and guesses in the comments.
Update: Via Deadspin....
ESPN's media relations machine "could not possibly comment about that", but Elliot did say that he asked the newsroom "What the F was that?" after the incident occurred, but denies having personally "dealt it."John Clayton's A Little Gassy In The Morning (Deadspin)

What Is With The Gumbels And Belching?
Monday, October 08, 2007

Last year it was Bryant Gumbel letting one go on National Television......this year it's the partner of his brother Greg, Dan Dierdorf burping into the mic. Here's the audio courtesy of ProFootballTalk.com.....
Dierdorf Burp
Not only did our friend Dan have that little mishap, but he had this gem as noted by GM yesterday....
"If Webster's had a definition for competitiveness, it would be Trent Green."- Dan Dierdorf
I haven't checked lately Dan, but I'm pretty sure Webster's would define a commonly used word like that. I could be wrong though.

Nausea, Heartburn, Upset Stomach, Indigestion, Diarrhea
Making the rounds this morning is a hilarious audio clip of Bryant Gumbel (allegedly) burping on air twice. From Mister Irrelevant
Update: With 6 minutes left in the fourth the following exchange occurredYou're right Jamie....that doesn't make sense, but it's damn funny. How funny? Check the audio. Burp #1 and Burp #2
Gumbel: Let me just make note that we do not have indigestion up here. We
had a mike open somewhere. We heard a couple of noises that were not of our
doing, shall we say.
Collinsworth: Thank you. I was wondering if those ribs
impacted a little more than I knew.
Gumbel: Either that or I'm a great
ventriloquist.
Hilarious! Ventriloquist? That doesn't even make sense! I
still think it was Gumbel.
