Mascot news has been wild as of late, but this might be the craziest thing I've seen. During the mascot H-O-R-S-E competition during All-Star Weekend, mascots were trying hit halfcourt shots, when Rufus from the Bobcats decided to make one off of the Bucks' mascot's junk. Now that would be amazing own its own, but of course Bango had to take it one step forward by falling through the basket and tearing an ACL. Via BDL....

Man, I can't stop laughing at that one. That was almost like a carnival game....good times!

What is it with mascots these days? When they're not getting DUIs, they're getting ejected from College Basketball games. Last night's Tulane-Rice game featured such an occurrence and you won't believe why the Rice Owl got send to the showers. He head-butted a referee. Seriously.

Now you don't see that everyday, now do you? Mascots have certainly done worse to officials over the years, but that was pretty blatant. Those Owl mascots are fiesty ones!

Being someone that has spent his fair share in mascot costumes (3 to be exact), I can understand the panic on this Cincinnati Reds Mascot's face. You never want to be unmasked even if there's an element of danger involved....

The "mascot" is a thankless job and it's about time that people documented the dangers that affect them. I once had to dress up as a "Bear Dog" and participate in a walk-a-thon very very hungover. These people need a Union and they need one post haste.

For some reason ESPN had an animal trainer from the Barnum and Bailey Circus come on and try to predict which Final Four mascot would win in real life. I know I know....I shouldn't watch First Take, but this one blew my mind.

Are you f'ing kidding me lady?! That Tiger would rip the s**t out of that stupid ram. I can understand a Tiger and a Bruin being a close match but a Ram? You think you might be a tad biased here since you are a Ram trainer? Wait, when did they get Rams at circuses???

Also, I think I may have seen this somewhere before. I know it's not a Tiger but the Lion destroyed the stupid Ram in the KSK Kill Kill Kill Invitation Tournament with 86% of the vote. And we all know that KSK's polling system is just as accurate as some Ram Lady telling us who is going to win the Final Four.

I think I'm going to completely bypass all of the fun I could have with this situation because it's never good to see people hurt, but this is a must see video. The Duke Blue Devil Mascot was doing one of it's ever-so-cool stunts by surfing over some fans when he decided to jump off. Not a good idea....

So surfing over people and making a one foot leap to the ground ISN'T a good idea? Good to know (I love you Duke fans...please don't be pissed)! I think this is actually the second time Mike Patrick has completely cracked me up (the first being Britney). Too funny.

So I woke up this morning with something like the flu and I needed a video like this to get me going. Don't know how much I'll post today, but if I watch this every hour on the hour I might get through the day.

I know it's wrong to laugh but coming from someone who's had to dress up as Chuck E. Cheese and Arthur the Aardvark....that's funny. Oh and she's recovered fine from her tackle.
