Jesse Palmer: "You see their helmets, no, their heads, fall into the ground."
Chris Fowler: "We hope that the initial unofficial prognosis proves to be true."
Small crowd in Louisville for the beginning of the Louisville-Rutgers game.
Eric Collins: "Last year, a decisive win for Rutgers, 63-14."
Tom Luginbill: "The Temple player gets the linebackers to suck up."
It's a snow game in Athens, OH.
Dave Pasch: "Happy Thanksgiving, everybody."
Thanksgiving was yesterday.
Quint Kessenich is doing sideline reporting for this game.
Chris Spielman: "How about that get-off up front."
I vote Chris Spielman deserves a pass this week for what he has gone through this past week.
Tim Brando: "The Aggies threw up quite a bit last night, 39 points."
Craig Bolerjack: "A flag is out around the 35 yard line." It's supposed to be down.
CBS went to a commercial break but cut it after it started.
Not an in-game call, but John Saunders just called Alabama RB Roy Upchurch Roy "Upchuck" in describing Upchurch's game-winning TD.
These announcers for South Carolina and Clemson are not that good. They were comparing the rivalry to Michigan-Ohio State.
Spiller is a great player.
Nice crowd in Columbia. Brian Griese: "DA-bo Swinney."
Rece Davis just called UConn "The Conn."
"You gotta play the entire game, Jeff." His name is Bob.
Bob Wischusen: "A psuedo-turnover."
Wischusen: "Spiller cut down."
Lou Holtz sitting on the couch in the ESPN studio.
"Both teams being very active with their hands." - Dave Lapham
Bob Wischusen: "Why would you do that, give Clemson the 40 or the 36 yard line every time."
The sound keeps popping out on the ESPN feed of Carolina-Clemson.
"It was a well executed play except for the results." - Holy Cross radio analyst
Brian Griese: "This is a big game throughout the Midlands and the Lowlands."
The Lowlands are called the Lowcountry.
"It's like watching The Natural; I feel like lightning is about to hit somewhere." - Gary Danielson on Tebow's entrance on Senior Day.
"He's so much more than stats." Danielson on You Know Who.
"There's going to be a robber in the middle of the field." - Gary Danielson
Florida wearing as Verne calls it "high-tech uniforms".
"They're going to put it in Tebow's hands today." - Verne Lundquist
Tebow takes off and runs...
"Here are his hands and his legs." - Verne Lundquist
Okay, so this is basically going to be the Tim Tebow show on CBS? Let's show him on the Gator Walk let's show him being introduced.
I would take every negative thing I've ever said about Bobby Bowden and FSU back if they win today.
CBS shows a graphic showing Florida's defense on 3rd downs but not one for FSU's offense.
No wonder they call it "The SEC on CBS".
Now an interview w/ Tebow taped before the game.
If I was only tired like yesterday during BAMA/AUB, I wouldn't this suck-up fest.
They're making Brennaman look mellow in the mancrush department.
"That blue carpet, it's an acquired taste at the best of times, but not during a rain storm." - Verne Lundquist, not a fan of Boise State's home field.
"I never thought I'd see Bill Cowher and the Victoria Secret models on the same screen." -Danielson
That last Danielson quote was while they were running a NFL Today promo.
"At least he went after it." Danielson on Riley Cooper falling down while trying to block.
"I only get to do this promo once a year." - Verne Lundquist on the Victoria Secret Fashion Show
"Is there only one Black Eyed Pea group? I've seen them everywhere." - Gary Danielson, pop culture buff extraordinaire.
"Look at me! I'm even paying tribute to Tim Tebow today!" - Tracy Wolfson who is wearing the eye black in honor of Tebow that every other Florida fan is wearing at the game.
"That's Survivor's Island with a guy who knows how to survive." - Gary Danielson
I think I may listen to the FSU radio broadcast.
At least, I know I won't have to hear the anoouncers glossing over Tebow after every damn play.
"Aaron Hernandez is a tight on, tight end, excuse me." - Gary Danielson
"Orson Charles zigged when he should have zagged." - Matt Millen
"I still don't think a lot of people have the FCS and FBS part figured out." - Sean McDonough after mentioning Division I-A
"I've got the BS part figured out." - Matt Millen
LSU is wearing gold helmets tonight.
Georgia is surprising Georgia Tech.
Brent Musburger: "This is Harbaugh-style football. This is a much tougher Stanford team than in the decades past with Harbaugh."
Harbaugh has only been a coach for like four years.
"Either they left or there is a line at the bathroom at the end of the quarter." - Todd Blackledge on LSU fans leaving early despite being up by 4 and non-problematic weather
"That's a big bathroom." - Brad Nessler
"Chad Jones still isn't up....and he's 230 pounds!" - Brad Nessler
"For whom the bell tolls." - Brent Musburger before Notre Dame's final hail mary.
Craig Bolerjack on Alabama-Auburn. Was this his first broadcast? On one call he announced that the Auburn receiver had made when 12 yards on a screen, when it was only 7. On another he called one short pass a minor gain, failing to point out that it achieved a first down. On still another he immediately announced Alabama had converted on a fourth and one when it seemed pretty clear from the play that he had been stopped short--which he was, etc.
Buerlein was pretty good doing color though.
I think the pammy's should count for friday as well because of the numerous games that are being played that day...
