Dave Lamont on Wednesday night game: "This man (Trent Dilfer) loves him some football."
Also, a little "Vanpeezy action" for SportsCenter.

Kind of strange having two SEC Network games. In Charleston, we're getting both games, Alabama on Fox, and Arkansas on My.
I think the math needs to be checked. Possible that week 3 results weren't included in the total. Old man Vern seems to be short 10 points.
Ray Bentley: "I guess the linesman didn't have the heart to call that call twice."
Chris Doering: "These guys are going to have to get some pads on if they want to tackle Mark Ingram today."
Pam Ward (after defensive touchdowns by UNC): "They're looking like (Boston College) great white sharks."
"This is Jaws territory right now."
Andre Ware: "Ryan Mallett is a kid in a candy store right now with this offense."
These announcers on the Florida game are really bad.
Wow McDonough and Millen got choked up when talking about Spielman. That was sad.
"Alright guys, Alabama and Florida baswically playing scrimmages today." - Reece Davis
Do you think Matt Millen was given a nice welcome back to Michigan?
Remember, Millen did the Notre Dame/Michigan game earlier in the year.
"This is like a broken record right behind me." - Jim Knox reporting on all of the OU injuries.
I can't believe Maryland is now leading Florida State.
"There's Mark (Herzlich) with the shaved head."
-Pam Ward
(Herzlich is recovering from bone cancer and lost his hair from chemotherapy)
"You can see that interception coming from way up here." - Pam Ward
"He knows where the first down markers are, unlike those New England Patriots receivers."-Pat Hayden
@ Birdman: I think that's our winner of the week!
"He has good get-off on the ball."
--Matt Millen
"He has good get-off on the ball"- Matt Millen
"He's having a good year out there, aren't they?"
--Matt Millen
@ Birdman I think Pam Ward may earn a one week suspension for that stupid remark.
"He had to twist his body 360 degrees to make that catch." - Mike Patrick
"Andre Dixon going with the anti-male pattern baldness haircut."-Pat Hayden
"You would notice."-Tomm Hammond
"I'm jealous."-Hayden
"He's as charming and intelligent of an individual as you will ever meet, but he does not have eyes in the back of his head." - Mike Patrick
" A Blocked Field Goal" Jeremy Bloom when it was a punt.
Gary Danielson: "The question is, does LSU have confidence in Sheppard to pass out of the Wild Rebel formation?"
Verne Lundquist: "You meant to say Wild Tiger."
Gary Danielson: "I just call them all Wildcat, let everybody else sort it out."
Bob Wichhusen: "Looks like Arena Football for Virginia in this first half."
The worst part of Pam's "shaved head" comment was that she had just finished telling the story of his cancer.
I guess she just didn't put 2 and 2 together.
"...the best drive Penn State has put together this year...or, this game." - Mike Patrick
Poor Ron Cherry's microphone is not working well in the Clemson game. Too bad we can't get a "He's giving him the business."
That Clemson game sounds like it is an interesting game.
"Notre Dime, Notre Dame takes a timeout." - Tom Hammond
" End of the First Quarter". Jeremy Bloom when its the end of the third quarter.
Charlie Weis still has a job! At least for a few minutes as UCONN misses a FG at the end of regulation. Going to OT.
If there's a football god out there UCONN will win in OT. They haven't had a lot of good things happen this year, obviously.
"Charlie Weis' job potentially hanging in the balance." -Tom Hammond
"Will the drive continue here in overtime? Yes, it will." -Tom Hammond on the UCONN 3rd and short before the TD. I think Hammond thought it may have been 4th down.
UCONN wins anyway. Weis is probably out at ND now.
"We should also mention [UConn Running back Andre Dixon]'s running back, running mate." - Tom Hammond
Mike Patrick: "Joe Paterno, as he has done so many times in his brilliant career, offering condolences at midfield to the team he just beat."
Larry Vettel: "It is a picturesque day in the University City."
"Chattanooga punching, rather punting..." John Saunders on the Alabama punt return TD.
How the hell is he on the Sunday 7:00 Sportscenter w/ Berman and Co.!? Awful.
What a stupid call by Les Miles in the LSU game.
Verne Lundquist: "Oh my gosh!" "What are they doing!"
"WHAT ARE THEY DOING?"- Verne as loud as he can yell as LSU doesn't get a play, let alone FG off after the 4th and 26 Hail Mary pass was caught at the 10 w/ :01 left.
lol- that was unintentionally the funniest dramatic play by play announcing call this season. I love Verne- he's so funny to listen to and his laugh sounds funny too lol
Some of the stupid fans on the LSU message boards want Les Miles fired all because of that. Look what he's done with the program in the last few years.
I forgot to add this as Les Miles' stupidity distracted me but on ESPN during the FSU/MD highlight on a FSU reverse for a TD:
"REVERSE!" - Rece, Lou and Mark in unison
"That's the best one we've done all season." - Rece Davis
"Unfortunately, Maryland couldn't hear us." - Lou Holtz
Les Miles shouldn't be fired for that...he does deserve a Pammy this week for his idiotic clock-management.
They also wasted 10-15 seconds before calling a TO on the 3rd down play.
"Of course, it is Florida and Georgia in the SEC Championship Game." - Mark Jones as ESPN2 reviews SEC standings before UGA/UK kickoff.
Todd Blackledge: "It was a good play with the left arm, but not a good play with the right arm."
Mark Jones (about Stanford-Cal): "You think you'll ever see the day when the bands will come onto the field again?"
Ron Franklin with a incomplete sentence (TX-KS): "He is next level competitor."
Ed Cunningham (talking about Mangino): "He's got his letterman's jacket on, that's for sure."
"It's so cold, I thought he was hugging himself." - Ron Franklin on Mark Mangino's coat
"He's got his letterman's jacket on." - Ed Cunningham
"Do not let the rules get in the way of a great play, Ron, such a stickler." - Ed Cunningham, sarcastically.
Jim Leahey (Hawaii-SJSU): "You've got Joe Paterno, then Bob-by Bowden."
"I never use the word indisputable. I think the SEC has buried that forever." - Brent Musburger
"I did not recognize that team that played Michigan today. What did they do, wire Oregon on how to look bad in a uniform?" - Brent Musburger
"There's a Little Husker. Corn-fed and proud." - Brad Nessler
"Wade had a gimme. They could have called the infield fly run on that one." - Brent Musburger
"It's a 3 step drop and he is going to be dropped." - Ron Thulin
Lou Holtz on College Football Final: Ranting about Notre Dame, "They don't want to hear you bitch and moan!"
So there were multiple people in the Herzlich shot and you need to ID the person. How else would you identify the guy you were talking about - "he's the bald one?" There's no delicate way to describe it, IMHO.
AGGIE FANS ARE SUCKING FACE TONIGHT
Thanks Jesse Palmer. I haven't laughed that hard in years.
Pam can't lose at this point. I don't expect Speilman to be back this season and Danielson is too far behind. I think Griese deserves an "honorable" mention for his suspension!
