When it comes to David Beckham, women do some crazy things. I'm sure he's had multiple stalkers in his past, but that doesn't compare to this awkward encounter with an Italian reporter hell bent on grabbing his junk. Via Who Ate All The Pies?....

If your Italian is not so good, the story is as follows: Elena Di Cioccio, a reporter for Silvio Berlusconi’s Uno station (yes, Berlusconi also owns AC Milan, Beckham’s current home), wanted to see if Becks was really packing Dirk Diggler-heat downstairs, as all those pants ads suggest. So she pulled on a pair of rubber gloves, walked up to Beckham while he was being interviewed in Madrid for an American TV station, and grabbed his crotch.

“Off the pitch we have seen fascinating photographs of David Beckham in his underpants and seemingly very well endowed and even his wife says that he is well equipped and calls him Golden Balls,” Di Cioccio said.

And Di Cioccio’s conclusion? A rough translation: “I touched it but it’s small! David you have conned us all. What did you use, cotton wool? It’s a trick!”

Well then. I don't really have much to add to that, I guess. I mean, I'm all for random women grabbing my crotch, but jeez ladies....there's a time and a place!

We all know that Rob Stone is a little nuts after his antics last year, but he might be a little more off his kilter than we realize. There's nothing he won't do for a spot and that includes holding a hawk that kills pigeons and getting into a streamer fight with fans. Oh and the hawk's name is "Bitchy"....Bitchy the Hawk....

These don't beat the pimp action from last year, or the hot pepper, but using the name "Bitchy" repeatedly is a winner in my book. I think the name "Stoner" fits him in Toronto. Bravo my friend. Also, if the MLS did stuff like this more often, I might actually watch. Maybe they should just make the entire league, one Premiership team.

Obviously most of the world was watching the Euro 2008 Final yesterday, but the MLS had a contest earlier in the day as well, and there was some exciting nut shot action right from the start!

I had no idea that pouring water down your pants helped you feel better after taking a shot in the balls. Good to know. Also, I pray that I'm never in the position of taking a shot like that on a cross from David Beckham. Good lord.

You're going to probably notice a lot of these random posts now that we're in the Post NBA Finals part of our Sports Calendar, but this one is definitely worth a spot here. I can't stand those heated seats that some cars and trucks have and apparently David Beckham can't either....

The Los Angeles Galaxy player was driving when the setting jammed on heat, forcing him to pull over and find something to cushion his scorched manhood. An onlooker told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “One minute he was tearing across Los Angeles, the next, he was rolling down his windows, panting and staring down at his crotch in horror.

“There were lots of fans and paparazzi following him, making it even more difficult for him to sort out his boiling bits. He was gutted to be caught cushioning his seat from the hot leather.”

Good lord that's got to be painful. I've been telling friends who use those dumb seats for years that someone was going to die from them and now we almost had our first case involving one of the most famous athletes in the World. It's just a matter of time.

Los Angeles Galaxy captain David Beckham, who is rehabbing a knee injury, will join play-by-play commentator Glenn Davis, and analysts Eric Wynalda and Tommy Smyth in the booth for tomorrow's MLS Primetime Thursday match -- Chivas USA vs. the Galaxy -- at 11 p.m. ET. Beckham, making his first televised soccer booth appearance in the U.S., will discuss a wide range of topics as well as provide some insight on the in-game action.

Hell....he's not playing so ESPN has to figure a way to work him in somehow. I'd love to bash them for this, but after paying for the flailing MLS.....they really have no choice.

I hadn't really even remembered that there was an MLS All-Star Game let alone it's tomorrow night. But alas, it is...and it's going to feature a lengthy David Beckham interview (in case you care)....

Beckham will be interview by Host Rob Stone at halftime of the ASG, and will feature a ton of interesting bells and whistles throughout the game.

Even better than that are the interviews setup for Becks scheduled debut on Saturday. Landon Donovan and Reggie Bush will be halftime interviews and ESPN will feature a "Celeb Cam" (ugh.) that will bother famous people throughout the game...

ESPN2 will deploy a roving Celebrity Cam to spot semi-famous faces in the crowd — think ESPN will find anybody who stars on corporate cousin ABC? — and will have a "red-carpet" pregame show.

NFL star Reggie Bush will drop by ESPN2's booth to talk about his adidas ads with Beckham — ESPN says this isn't a paid infomercial — and on its online broadband service, ESPN will keep a camera continually focused on Beckham.

Sounds like fun! I'll watch so you don't have to.

You would think that after skipping out on 5 days of posts that I would have something genius ready to go. Not the case at all....it's yet another annoying ESPN move! Yay!!!

Apparently the leader plans on using 19...19!!! On-field cameras for David Beckham's debut with the Galaxy in a friendly on July 21st. But more importantly, one special camera will be transfixed on Becks for the entire match...

ESPN has announced plans to offer blanket coverage of the Galaxy's friendly against the Blues on July 21 - the game earmarked for Beckham's first appearance as a Galaxy player.

ESPN will carry the game live with 19 cameras following the action on the field and one will be trained exclusively on the former England captain, who has signed a five-year deal worth up to £125million with the Galaxy.

The network also plans to add a pre-game show (for an exhibition match), add a 1-hour Documentary on Becks, AND have his new best friend Reggie Bush be a guest during the program.

It's Becks, It's Bush, It's Soccer that doesn't count for anything and all this for someone who may only play in the game for 20 minutes!!! It's the Galaxy versus the Blues....On ESPN 360!!!

One Mr. David Robert Joseph Beckham. Apparently there was a bidding war for his first major interview on U.S. Television that I was unaware of. Either way CBS won the thing over also-rans Jay Leno and Oprah, and Becks will be one of the soon to be many interviews for the big game.

Becks, 31, hopes he can win over the US and their sports fans to bring his and wife Victoria's Brand Beckham to America.

As well as 80million US TV viewers the 75,000 fans in Miami's Dolphins Stadium will also see Beckham's big interview on giant screens.

Oh what a treat for those in attendance Beckham AND Prince......they must have died and gone to heaven. I don't know how much sense this actually makes considering no one watches soccer in America, and it's unlikely they ever will. But hell they are both called Football....it's worth a shot right?
