ESPN's Thursday Night Crew Makes Fun Of Clemson Fan
Monday, September 21, 2009
Clemson lost to Georgia Tech two weeks ago, but this video just recently hit the webs. A Tigers fan was a little upset about said loss, and Chris Fowler, Jesse Palmer and Craig James, got quite a kick out of it. For four whole minutes....
I love how they hammer the kid forever, and then Fowler has to get all serious and say that they don't want to make fun of him. The kid was acting like a three year old, guys....have at him.

OSU Turns The College Football World Upside Down
Friday, September 26, 2008

There's nothing better than celebrating with your entire student body after beating a #1 team. Especially when that student body is littered with signs in "support" for Erin Andrews. Here's the end of the game and pay extra attention at the 1:15 mark....
I seriously thought that sign read "Erin Andrews Ky Time?" at first, but thanks to Deadspin, we now know it reads "Sexy". Either way, I'm surprised that ESPN put it on camera right before her postgame interview. In fact they just showed it on Sports Center, so I'm not sure they've even noticed it.
As far as the game goes, it's about time that the College Football season got interesting. So thanks for that you silly Beavers. We now need Minnesota and Mississippi to pull off upsets to complete the triumvirate.

People In Canada Are Clever
Saturday, January 05, 2008
I know it's just the International Bowl but I've been thoroughly enjoying this team on the call. You've got the two Canadians in Saunders and Flutie and Jesse Palmer and he might be one of the best analysts I've heard in awhile.
Anyway, here's the highlight of the game (and no it's not Ray Rice's 260 and 4 TDs through 3 quarters). Wait for it...Waaaait for it...
I'd love to hear the producer on that one....."Okay, Camera 2 to the Go Rutgers sign.....wait ABORT! ABORT!!!!"

Someone Needs To Tell Pam Ward When She's Back On-Air
Saturday, December 01, 2007
It's gotta be tough for an announcer when there are audio problems for just about the entire game. It's also gotta be tough when the studio throws the game back to you and you don't know you're on-air....
"What?!?"
Pam and Ray have been disappearing every so often while calling the MAC Championship game. Stan Verrett and Jesse Palmer have been calling the action from the studio, but it's been slow going. Verrett should never call a game again....audio problems or not. It seemed like he was on a 10 second delay. I guess it's possible that the TV screen he was watching on could have been 30 feet away though.

Friday, August 31, 2007

ESPN has hired away yet another individual. This time it's ex-Giants QB Jesse Palmer from the Bachelor. He will also be featured on TSN and CTV in Canada somehow. Basically you won't be able to miss the guy...
Former NFL quarterback Jesse Palmer has signed a broadcasting deal with TSN and CTV. Palmer, a native of Ottawa, will provide NFL analysis on Mondays for TSN's SportsCentre and also write a weekly football column for TSN.ca. Palmer, who starred on the reality show The Bachelor, also will work as a New York entertainment correspondent for CTV's eTalk. He'll be on ESPN's College Football Live, and if they ever head out on location you college kids need to bring a ton of roses to throw at him.
