Someone Needs To Tell Pam Ward When She's Back On-Air

Saturday, December 01, 2007

It's gotta be tough for an announcer when there are audio problems for just about the entire game. It's also gotta be tough when the studio throws the game back to you and you don't know you're on-air....

"What?!?"

Pam and Ray have been disappearing every so often while calling the MAC Championship game. Stan Verrett and Jesse Palmer have been calling the action from the studio, but it's been slow going. Verrett should never call a game again....audio problems or not. It seemed like he was on a 10 second delay. I guess it's possible that the TV screen he was watching on could have been 30 feet away though.

Emergency or not -- Verrett has shown he can't handle the situation.
His first question EVERY halftime to Jess -- "what are your thoughts on this game?"
Come up with something more originial. Doesn't he ask Jesse beforehand what he wants to point out?
Verrett wouldn't even be a good small town sportscaster.

Boom Goes the Dynamite thinks Stan Verrett did a fantastic job.

She's probably thinking "oh, great, that'll make the top of the AA list!"

Pam Ward is the worst play-by-play football announcer. She makes comments and doesn't even pay attention to the action of the field. She needs to go or make her a sideline reporter where she migh excedl. The booth is not her forte.
