Emmitt's Advice To Adrian Peterson On How To Become A Better Player
Tuesday, December 18, 2007
I mean to put this up earlier, but I've been battling Internet issues all day. ESPN got Adrian Peterson to stop by the set post game and he was forced to ask Emmitt Smith for some advice by Emmitt himself....
Emmitt's still not the best at putting words together on-air, but I honestly though this was the best piece of analysis he's provided this year. Even if it was forced upon Peterson. God is obviously a big part of most player's lives, so I won't bash him for that, but the rest was actually good advice. Being a great blocking back will keep you on the field longer and ultimately give you more touches.
Seems like a simple equation, but I never really thought of it that way.

pray? that's his advice?
Now when does Sterling ask Emmitt do you have any questions about being a semi competent analyst?
as poison says, every cowboy sings the same sad song
that was sad.come on smith, let go.you were once where peterson is.we all get old, get over yourself, fool.whats up with the cowboys and their fans,I hate you
The real Emmitt highspot came when they were criticizing Tarvaris Jackson's play. SalPal defended the young QB, mentioning that it was only his 12th game. Emmitt's response:
"I dont care if it his 12 game. . .or his 11th game!"
Was that Tavarius Jackson?
Tavarian Jackson?
Travis Jackson?
Trapezius Jackson?
Travarias Jackson?
No one can pronounce that dude's name. He is the Dermonitti Dawson of 2007.
Devanitti Dawson.
Basically, he said "don't quit, don't even quit."
