Find The Typo: ESPN's Mike Sando Has An Interesting Timeline
Wednesday, December 19, 2007
I think it's relatively pretty easy to remember who the number one pick is of any draft. Especially if you take into account the other players selected in said draft. This is especially the case in 1998....and with that said it's time once again to play....
FIND! THE! TYPO!!!
The article is a nice piece on how the Dolphins have company when it comes to futile teams. The story is highlighted by an nice selection of the worst teams since 1970. Take a look and tell me if you can find the typo (click for larger)....
That's a lot of bad teams.....let me help you out.....
Still can't figure it out? Well think back to the 1998 Draft and who had the first pick. I'm pretty sure it was the Indianapolis Colts and they picked this guy.....
(Thanks to Chris for sending this one my way)

The article has a longer explanation of that Lord's prayer bit, the coach getting it wrong was the whole point of it. He was apparently an idiot.
You spelled Indianapolis wrong......
Hey lay off Sando, it was an honest mistake... It makes his point sound better, and isn't ESPN allowed to make errors to make their point better?
Sando is an awesome writer, he never should have left his Seahawk beat writer job in Seattle. His is an AWESOME blogger and ESPN needs to give him his own blog.
Uh.....if Awful Announcing has a recurring feature with ESPN typos, it is NOT okay!
1998?? Wow!
It seems like just yesterday we were all having that "Ryan Leaf or Peyton Manning debate".
Now nobody will admit to thinking that Leaf was the guy to take #1.
There's at least one more glaring error... in 1972, and even today, "Now I lay me down to sleep" isn't part of the Lord's Prayer
