Good one Mark.
"Santa said he was going to leave a lot of points under the tree for us in this game and if there is a Santa, which I still believe in, I think he did."- Mark Jones
Nice Mark....cause kids don't watch College Football games.
"I read they can't find HD TVs in Hawaii because of the Hawaii Rainbows."- Bob Davie
I made a joke about it earlier, but I'm pretty sure Davie was serious about them still being the 'Bows.

Did Mark Jones just call someone Bo Schembechler
what announcing tandem would you rather have...Jones and Davie on TV, or Eric Collins, the ageless Jim Donnan, and Joe Schad on ESPN Radio?

I choose to chew on the business end of a shotgun, Private Pyle Style.
That's a tough call....I'd combine teams. I think Jones is good, but I can't stand Davie for some reason.
Good job to Jones & Davie ignoring a player (#47, from Memphis I believe) being injured on the ground for at least two minutes, with talking about how silly FAU students paid no attention to Schellenberger giving speeches about FAU football and how popular football became at FAU. At no time did they indicate who the player was, and it took them about thirty seconds of the camera showing the hurt player to even mention it. I can just imagine someone's mom, watching at home, wondering if it was her son on the ground.
Mark Jones can't get legendary coaches' names right, has the wrong team blocking punts, knows that owls see at night (sigh) ... why does he have a job? FAU's radio voice is ABC/ESPN pxp guy Dave LaMont, and he's far more polished and knowledgable. Too bad he's not doing the TV tonight.
Lamont's good....he's got a good number of Bowl Games this season.

actually, lamont only has one TV game (Humanitarian ... ugh), although he's doing ESPN radio for the Champps game. He's really underused as the WWL keeps trying to prop up Jones and Ward
Really? I could have sworn he had a good number of games. I didn't even go back and check.
That's telling you something when Pam Ward gets multiple games and he doesn't.
Jim Donnan on ESPN Radio: The defense is jumping up and down doing what they can to disconcert them.
What is with Mark Jones & his fascination with a dude's calves? Wasn't he was drooling about Darren McFadden's calves in a game this year?
is EVERY bowl announcing pair just going to praise the sponsors left & right, up & down like they're the ONLY bowl in the world.
there's 32!!! how special can these lame early ones be?
we get the bowl concept -- but all we care about is announcing a football game!!!
Nessler on the LV bowl just said of UCLA's Davis (44):
He LITERALLY played his guts out.
I hope they have a doctor handy.
according to aikman the wind is blowing very very much in chicago, and there is such a thing as a downhill linebacker
Mark Jones just called the FAU coach Howard Schnellendecker
