Mercury Morris Is Back, But He Seems Rather Subdued This Year
Monday, November 17, 2008
Mercury Morris was back on First Take this morning with his yearly "They Aren't In Our Neighborhood" Speech again, but this time there was something different. He was obviously on to talk about the 10-0 Titans, and not only did he not make it all about himself or the Dolphins but....wait, is this a humble and almost supportive, Mercury Morris?! I think it is!!!
Maybe Mercury just hated the Patriots as much as we do (joke people), or they rubbed him the wrong way, but Titans speech just threw me for a loop. I mean, he even said "Go Titans!" there at the end. Unbelievable. Next you're going to tell me that the NFL is fixing games....oh.
The apocalypse is really upon us.

Welcome To Perfectville

There's only one good reason that the Football Season is over and it's because we won't have to hear about these chuckleheads for at least another year. Live it up Dolphins...
Cute ad I guess, but with the way that people feel about Mercury Morris I don't know if Reebok made the right choice with this one.

You Stay Classy Miami And New England
I really hoped for a way that both of these two individuals could have been stopped, but I guess in the end it just wasn't meant to be. First up is Bill Belichick, and while I understand competition I think the only true members of that Patriots team were the ones who stayed on the field at the end of that game. Tedy Bruschi, you have the utmost respect from me sir.....
At least Randy Moss thought about it for a second before he ran off. So classless. I know it's one second but there's no other coach that would pull that.
Second up, Mercury Morris. He tries to sound classy but ruins it in the end. I'm happy that the Dolphins still have the undefeated season moniker, but it's not because of him.
Thanks for letting America celebrate Mercury. You ass.

The Patriots Still Aren't In Mercury Morris' Imaginary Neighborhood

I have no idea why First Take (and myself for that matter) keeps giving this guy airtime, but here's our friend Mercury Morris giving Michelle Bonner a hard time on ESPN this morning. Not only does he say that the Patriots haven't accomplished anything yet he also flips out on the Parcells piece ESPN did.....
What a dick.

There's going to be a party in South Beach tonight! Go Dolphins!!! As Troy Aikman said after the clip was shown on FOX, "The first one's always the toughest." Go for 3!!!
Perfect timing leading up to the Patriots game next week. You know what that means....more Mercury Morris!
