Your 2010 BCS Bowl Game Announcing Schedule

Sunday, December 06, 2009

This FOX experiment is almost over. Fortunately, we have a few more games with those folks, and we can play the band game! I'm too lazy to look back, but I think that the record was 117 shots in the 2008 Orange Bowl (don't quote me on that). I'm bitter that the only game I want to watch has Sam Rosen and Tim Ryan, but what are you gonna do? Here's your full BCS Bowl Game schedule. Mark down the games, and get the booze ready folks (I'll have the full one for you later in the week)!

Friday, January 1st

Rose Bowl (ABC, 5pm): Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Oregon Ducks - Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit
Sugar Bowl (FOX, 8:30pm): Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Florida Gators - Thom Brennaman and Brian Billick

Monday, January 4th

Fiesta Bowl (FOX, 8pm): Boise State Broncos vs. TCU Horned Frogs - Sam Rosen and Tim Ryan

Tuesday, January 5th

Orange Bowl (FOX, 8pm): Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - Dick Stockton and Charles Davis

Thursday, January 7th

BCS National Championship Game (ABC, 8pm): Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Texas Longhorns - Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit

8 Comments:

An extra element you can add to the band game in the Sugar Bowl: How many times will Brian Billick utter the phrase "simple as a screwdriver"?

During Carolina Panther games it is a minimum of 3.

Also you could add how many times Thom Brennaman kisses Tebows ass during the game. I am so glad ESPN is taking over hopefully they wont do as many band shots as FOX does besides they cover the game start to finish FOX bullshits teams together.

I think it's funny that even though FOX wants out of the BCS, it won't even get the Championship Game in their final year

You have to love Fox. They get like one team that has actually done a college game all year and they want you to pretend that it's not obvious. They only know the one star on each team and barely have any idea what the hell is gong on. It's brutal to watch the same crap every year. You'd think they would have caught on by now. The lucky bastards have gotten some good games over the years though.

In years past FOX separated NFL with BCS announcing teams, but I guess being their lame duck season, it looks like they're just using regular NFL teams.

I thought the title game started at 10 Eastern time ... glad it's not.

@ mandb97: Nope. Because ABC has the Rose Bowl, they also have the National Championship game.
