Yes, it has gone downhill the past couple of months.
Hey, the announcing schedules are all I care about.
Booooo! They broke up the Canadian announce crew for the International Bowl.
And I'm pretty sure that Verne & Gary Danielson will announce the Gator Bowl.
It seems like we take for granted how awful ESPN announcers are. They're supposed to be the creme of the crop and ESPN's second-tier consists of Wischusen, Gleason, Lamont, and Gannon. These guys are beyond awful.
Gator Bowl: Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson
Cotton Bowl: Pat Summerall and Daryl Johnston
Eric,
I guess beauty is in the ear of the beholder also. I regard Wischusen and Lamont as pretty solid. Gannon is a touch vanilla. I'm not familiar enough with Gleason to comment.
this site used to post more stuff then just the announcing schedules.
