Those graphics packages are based on excel spreadsheets most of the time, which will "attach" the photo to graphic. Anyone who has used Excel knows that glitches or typos can happen. Especially when autofill kicks in... as Ja was probably picked up as janikowski when it was typed in, without the operator noticing.

While it is funny as a blooper, we who deal with this stuff every day don't like when things like that happen... especially when someone points it out.

I had someone decide to write the local paper about a typo on a screen I made, and the paper (apparently devoid of any real content) ran the item.

We try not to make mistakes... but you will always be there when we do. And we will be on the lookout for you to have one good enough to send to Leno's headlines!

We all make mistakes, and I'm sure the guys in the truck felt like an idiot when they saw it. I don't think its a big deal.

Don't forget that CBS sent their #7 team to this game so we shouldn't be shocked to see a mistake like this.

Ironically, Sebastian Russell got his ass kicked at school everyday.

I definitely know which B.A. is responsible for this mishap.

And shock to the public the bald, pasty white kicker, from I believe Eastern Europe, has a major criminal record.

The graphics B.A. put a nice big postage stamp on this one... maybe he needs a few more reps doing Fordham basketball games at Rose Hill Gym before he can do his job on the big stage...
