Your NBA Announcing Schedule For The Week Of 12/29

Monday, December 29, 2008

I have no idea why Michael Phelps keeps showing up at random Basketball games across the country, but I guess if I had a free pass to go to every event, I'd be doing it as well. Lot of games this week, but very few of them are on national television. Both TNT and ESPN have the week off, but here are your NBA TV games for the next seven days....

Orlando Magic at Detroit Pistons (NBATV, 7:30pm)- George Blaha, Greg Kelser
Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors (NBATV, 10:30pm)- Bob Fitzgerald, Jim Barnett

Tuesday, December 30th

Fan Night Matchup: Cleveland Cavaliers at Miami Heat (NBA TV, 7:30pm)- Eric Reid, Tony Fiorentino

Wednesday, December 31st

Denver Nuggets at Toronto Raptors (NBA TV, 7pm)- Matt Devlin, Leo Rautins

Friday, January 2nd

Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks (NBA TV, 8:30pm)- Mike Breen, Walt Frazier

Count that baby, and a foul!

Is NBA TV still planning on doing the '24 Hours of LeBron' or did that already happen?

Damn, that Phelps is actually getting uglier by the day. Is that medically possible?

JFein is a tool. Who would Tivo a crummy bowl game. They don't have any meaning. The NFL was so much better this week, all except for the Broncos-Chargers game. Thank heaven for NBA TV as I now have an option other than bowl games!

Random thought when I saw the Phelps picture: At some point in the upcoming baseball season, his hometown Baltimore Orioles will sure honor him. Will they give him a #8 jersey like everyother team, dispite that number being retired by Cal Ripken? Just curious.

Does anyone know who is announcing the January 15th Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns game?
