BC/Navy Announcing Open Thread

The dynamic duo of Pam Ward and Mike Gottfried is on the case. But don't forget about stellar sideline reporter Jimmy Dykes....
The funniest part though is listening to Gottfried trying to pronounce Navy's QB's name.

They need to keep Jimmy Dykes away from football sidelines. He's half decent (not saying much) as color on college basketball when he doesn't have to do inserts.
MG: "Everything is topsy-turvy. Up is down; black is white. Ryan is running the football while Kaipo-Noa is passing."
I have to give Pam some credit; it looked like she winced when Gottfried used that turn of phrase.
George Foreman is in the booth, and this is turning into a bad MNF interview rather quickly all due to Gottfried's questions alone. I think he only asked him one thing about football, and then went on about the grills and naming all his sons George.
Best moment of the bowl season so far:
On the radio broadcast of the BC-Navy game, the play-by-play announcer noted in the second quarter that the Boston College kicker's long field goal this season was 36 yards, prompting his partner in the booth to say, "What did I tell you? You don't want this game to come down to a field goal."
How does that kicker, whose name is far too difficult to type, respond? By kicking a game-winning 37-yard field goal.
Good call, color analyst whose name I can't recall. Good call.
(In fairness, I'm going to point this out as well: I'm the guy who thought BC should go for it with the ball at the nine and one second to play in the first half.
Good call, Brian. Good call.)
Hey dude. I just thought I'd let you and every one else know that ABC is televising the Cap One Bowl between Wisconsin and Arkansas AND the Rose Bowl between USC and Michigan.
ESPN is promoting the games very much, so I thought I'd remind you.
of course that's supposed to read "ESPN is'NT ..." Jeeze, screwed up my own crummy joke.
