Player(s) to Watch: Central Michigan's Soph Quarterback #13- Dan LeFevour
Had above average games against better teams like Michigan, BC, and Kentucky. He ended the season on fire....in his last two he was 36-46, 608 Yards, 6TDs, and 1 INT
Middle Tennessee's Defense
The only reason the Blue Raiders are here is because of their defense. The are undersized but very fast. The main issue though is injuries as they are missing starters both at linebacker and cornerback.
Deciding Factor(s): I've got a fevah....and the only prescription is Dan LeFevour. Look for him to decimate Middle Tennessee's injured secondary. The only chance the Blue Raiders have in this game is to force turnovers early and build a lead. Central Michigan's Defense is really good against the run and MT rarely passes.
Interesting Fact: Central Michigan is coming off a strong performance against the run in the MAC championship game. Ohio was the third-best running team in the MAC, but it managed just 87 yards against the Chippewas.
Spread: Central Michigan -9, O/U 51.5
AA's Pick and Analysis: I believe this game will be decided early with LeFevour's arm. The spread has dropped from our posted contest spread to 7.5. Middle Tennessee is missing some key people on D, and LeFevour has picked apart defenses as of late. I think this one goes to the Chippewas in a rout.
Prediction Central Michigan 35-14
Good luck to all. Thanks for playing the game and join Brian from One More Dying Quail for the live-blog.
