You would think they would goto a studio setup or something like that with this issue. However, since the whole studio setup is at Fenway, that makes it impossible. I don't think he's a bad play by play guy (see Stockton, Dick), but it's just that he's not in his proper element. His delivery and such is fine if he's the announcer of a team (i.e. this kind of delivery may work better on the local Braves telecasts). But, on a national level when you're supposed to show some level of neutrality (save for raising your voice over the cheers of the home crowd), Caray just isn't the right fit.
