Video: NBC's Tribute To Madden
Sunday, August 09, 2009
For most of the Hall of Fame Game, I really wasn't missing John Madden. I thought Collinsworth worked great with Madden, and didn't really think about Madden until they aired the tribute piece at halftime. Throw some "booms" together with a random telestrator squiggle, and you've got a winner!

The telestrator line over Michaels's face was priceless.
Amazing that Collinsworth worked so well with Madden as you said. I must have missed the part of the broadcast where John joined Al and Cris in the booth.
Yeah, AA, Cris Collisnworth worked well with Al Michaels I think you meant, not Madden who was nowhere near the Hall of Fame Game last ngiht.
It's an interesting clip of Madden, barbecued heads and SportsCenter ...
Wasnt sure if that piece was a tribute or a eulogy
Obviously, Madden's bust dominates everyone else's once the Hall of Fame closes for the night when they reportedly talk to each other.
in the middle of the video the recorder started checking other channels, bored huh?
