Batting Stance Guy Appears On Letterman, Signs Deal With Fox
Tuesday, July 14, 2009
Gar Ryness, better known as "Batting Stance Guy", is a cult hero among the blogs, and is known for recreating just about every MLB players baseball swing on Youtube. Well, Gar got a chance to put his talent on display for Letterman last night (no, not during Stupid Human Tricks), and here is a bit of his performance....
Just amazing. The fact that he brought up Hal Morris had me rolling on the ground. The good news doesn't stop there for Gar though. Fox has signed the Youtube sensation to appear on the 19 regional FOX networks the rest of the season. Congrats Gar!

I never get tired of watching this guy. There's that saying that baseball players get paid for doing what we all did as kids. Well... a lot of people gave up on being a major league player at an early age but still continued to emulate batting stances in our backyards. This guy is still doing it and has probably made a few pennies doing it... I love it!
I like the Manny watching a HR, then realizing it's A double thing. XD
Dave saying that he used to try and emulate Rickey's stance? HA!
